Mitchell has been an intergral part of the team at Kariong Physiotherapy since 2020. Mitch graduated in 2018 from UTS with a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Drawing on his 10 years as a swim coach and working with prestigious sporting teams such as Barcelona Academy, GWS Giants Academy, and Hornsby Eagles AFL club, Mitchell has developed a deep passion for sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
In his spare time Mitchell is a passionate swimmer, runner, cyclist and triathlete. He has competed in multiple age group world championships and completed 2 Ironman triathlons. Mitchell is also the current and 3 time Swimrun Australia champion. In addition to his professional expertise, Mitchell is an passionate athlete himself, having competed in multiple age-group world championships and completing two Ironman triathlons. He is a 3-time Swimrun Australia champion and continues to participate in swimming, running, cycling, and triathlon events. This first-hand experience gives him unique insights into injury prevention and rehabilitation for active individuals. |
Mitchell is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of his community. He treats a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, back and shoulder pain, as well as work cover injuries and neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. With a patient-centred approach, Mitchell ensures that each individual receives an evidence-based treatment plan tailored to achieving their goals and promoting long-term recovery.
