Balance and Falls Prevention

Balance issues can arise from general aging, injuries, neurological conditions, or surgeries, and can affect everyday life by increasing the risk of falls and the fear of falling. Our physiotherapists look at what is causing your balance issues, such as weak muscles, unstable joints, or sensory issues, and create personalised treatment plans to address these areas.

Our physiotherapists can work with you to improve your balance, stability, coordination, and strength so that you can feel more confident in your balance, become more independent, and lower your risk of falls, improving your overall health and quality of life.

In addition to one-on-one balance training and falls prevention programs, Kariong Physiotherapy also offers balance classes. These classes focus on a mixture of strength and balance exercises suitable for any ability level. Our goal for these classes is to help you feel stronger, more stable, and more confident as you go about your day without having to worry about falling.
